Fez was founded by Omar Fawzy and Hadeel to create a more thoughtful standard of coffee service — one rooted in hospitality, shaped by specialty coffee, and designed for people who notice the details.
Fez began with a belief that coffee is never just coffee.
For founders Omar Fawzy and Hadeel, coffee has always meant more than what is in the cup. It is ritual. It is welcome. It is generosity. It is one of the simplest ways to make people feel cared for.
That belief is part of what shaped Fez from the beginning.
Omar grew up in Egypt, where coffee was part of daily life and part of how people were received. Later, his interest in specialty coffee deepened further while living in Sydney, Australia, where he studied the craft more seriously and developed a sharper point of view on quality, process, and what a truly well-executed coffee experience could feel like.
Fez officially launched in 2022 and has since grown from a private corporate coffee cart into a specialty Bay Area catering brand.
Together, Omar and Hadeel built Fez around a simple idea: the service should feel just as considered as the coffee itself.

Today, Fez serves corporate events, weddings, brand activations, private gatherings, and recurring workplace programs across the San Francisco Bay Area. What began as a single concept has grown into a larger operation built to deliver polished service at scale, while still keeping the same care and intention that shaped the business early on.
But Fez was never meant to be just another coffee cart company.
We built Fez to feel more like a hospitality partner — one that understands presentation, guest flow, operational discipline, and the pressure of serving in environments where every detail reflects on the host.
